Then came Christmas Morning

Christmas morning, John and Giselle had breakfast at her parents' home and Joe had to work. So, Jody, Aiden, John and Judy joined us for breakfast and gift opening.
After the boys played a little bit, John, Judy, Jody and Aiden went home, and the rest of us got ready for the next dinner at Bob and Arlene's home . Yep, another feast.

Christmas 2007

This past Christmas was really a great one for us. Brian, Heather and Peyton were able to come up and join us so all of us were together. We started the festivities on Christmas Eve and Ron and Colleen's home with 25 sitting down to an absolute feast. After dinner, we had the annual accordion sing along which is always very ... loud and offkey (both accordions and voices), but lots of fun. Because we now have 3 toddlers in our family, we had a special visitor. Santa Claus knocked on the door and had little gifts for Peyton, Tyler and Aiden, none of which wanted to have anything to do with him. In his short visit, though, he was able to thank Dad for all of his years as Santa's helper, and told him what a legend he is at the North Pole. Presents and dessert came next.
