Peyton Jaycob arrives

Peyton Jaycob Perry was born on March 10 at 1:03 p.m. Because he was breach, he was born by caesarian section. He weighed in at 6 lbs, 11 oz. and is 19 inches long. Through most of his first day, he slept, but did feed a little bit. His legs flailed wildly against the side of his head, whenever you unwrapped him. That is pretty normal for breach babies. He had many visitors because he is such a cute kid. He weighed in at 6 lbs, 7 oz by 8 pm that night. The next day, he ate a little bit more, but still had many visitors. He got very tired out sitting in the arms of everyone who came in to visit. Mom felt much better on the second day. Peyton tipped the scales at 6 lbs, 4 oz. that night. On the third day, he was circumsized and came through it like a trooper. After that little operation, he was so tired he did not want to eat and weighed in that night at 6 lbs, 1 oz. The next morning, Mommy and Daddy packed up the clothes for all three of them and moved out of Hotel Hoag. I am sure they are going to miss the beautiful view and wonderful service that they received at Hoag Presbyterian in Newport Beach. Throughout most of their stay, the weather was beautiful, cold but they didn't feel that inside the beautiful private room. There were a few clouds and raindrops, but throughout most of their stay there were blue and sunny skies.
They drove up to their house to a huge clothesline across the front of their house. Brand new baby clothes hung on the line. Some of Heather's childhood neighbors hung them there. It was a very nice weldome.
Today was his first full day at home. He is such a star and is just used to all the flashbulbs going off. We have taken lots of pictures....because he is such a cutie.
