Aiden and Peyton meet for the first time

Brian, Heather and Peyton flew into Oakland airport last Saturday morning to rainy weather. But Peyton's smile made the day brighter. We got him strapped up in the carseat and headed over to see Aiden and Lala Jo. Peyton thought that Lexi was more fun than Aiden, but in time, that will change. He liked Capri's and Aiden's toys and kept us all entertained as Aiden slept and met Uncle Brian and Auntie Heather.

After breakfast, we drove to my house and settled them in. Jody drove over and she and Heather and I took the babies over to visit with Lala Jo and Poppy Al. She even had toys for Peyton to play with. What a nice bis-Lala. Can you see my little car with 2 carseats in the back and Heather back there to referee in case Peyton decided to "play" with Aiden.

That night we had lots of visitors: Uncle Ron, Auntie Colleen, Caitlin, Uncle Rick, Auntie Renee, Auntie Kathy, Auntie Arlene, Stacey and Jessica. Again, Peyton put on a show while everyone passed Aiden around. Peyton was getting hungry, so Uncle John, yes, Uncle John fixed dinner. He made a dish that Giselle taught him how to make and it was delicious.

The next morning, Joe got off work so he decided that he would cook breakfast. We had a lovely breakfast at their house, and Uncle Joe got to roughouse a little with his godson.

Arlene and Bob opened up their house for a get together for all the family on Sunday night. Nono was able to see all 3 of his great grandchildren together. Peyton seemed to be fascinated with his cane...I remember when his Daddy and all of his cousins were the same way. Tyler was trying to stay clear of Peyton who likes to "kiss" with his teeth...and he has a bunch. And Aiden...well...give him some time; right now he is just a cute little slug.
