Easter 2007

Well, it was a beautiful day...just the kind of day that you expect Easter to be on...not too hot, not cold at all. John, Giselle and I met many of the family members at church and then went back home to get ready for the day. John and Giselle took a look at what the Easter bunny brought them and then had to have a little something to break their lenten "give ups". John gave up cheese, so he had a quesadilla and some gold fish, while Giselle had a piece of turta since she had given up rice. Joe, Jody, Aiden, John and Judy came over to see what the Easter bunny had left for Aiden at Noni's house, and then it was off to Uncle Ron and Auntie Colleen's house for Easter Brunch. It was a beautiful feast, and we did feast. After we ate, we had a different kind of easter egg hunt...kind of an upside down easter egg hunt. Since we have no "little ones" who are mobile, Gino, Giorgio and Caitlin decided that we should have the grandparents look for eggs. So they hid the eggs and the grandparents searched. It was a tie between Nono Pipe, Grandma Bernie and Grandpa Jerry, Nono Bob, and Noni Arlene, Nana Judy, Papa John, and Noni Pauline. I am sure the young ones had great fun watching us run around the yard. Before everyone left we had a photo shoot...Nono Pipe and all of his grandkids and then they took a picture of those of us who were organizing the picture.
