Peyton has a new little cousin

Aiden Joseph Perry came into this world this afternoon at 1:44 pm. All is well with baby, Mommay and Daddy. It took a little while, though, because Aiden was turned a little cock-eyed. But the Doctors and Nurses were watching Jody very closely and decided that the best thing to do was a c-section. Aiden tipped the scales at 7 lbs, 8 oz. and is 22 inches long. He has quite a bit of dark hair and his eyes are...well...his eyes are dark.

So, after all was said and done, Joe came out to get Grandpa John, Nana Judy, Grandpa Tim and I and took us to the nursery. There was Aiden, screaming at the top of his lungs. "I am cold, wrap me up". We could hear him through the window.

Then Daddy rolled him down to Mommy's room. After they were all settled in their new room, we were able to go visit. He was warm and quiet and did not even mind being passed around. I am sure that he just wanted to rest, since he had had a big day. Happy Birthday Aiden.
